I am a big fan of boat names. There are so many wonderful ones like these Really Stupid Ones from an old post. I just received news about the latest most popular boat names from www.FirstBoat.com. Following are the top ten most popular boat names for 2011: Serenity (In addition to “Serenity” we saw variations such as “Serenity Now!” of Seinfeld fame, as well as clever misspellings including “Sea-Renity”) Happy Ours (Time was a common theme in boat names this year. Great Boat Name

At our annual awards event last Saturday, one of the boats that won a number of awards, including most improved was called Dilligaff. It sounded Welsh but I wondered about its origin. It was explained to me that it's an acronym: D.I.L.L.I.G.A.F.F. which stands for "Do I look like I give a flying f...." The boat has kept its name though several owners.
