The origin of Messing About In Sailboats

  • The original quote is from Kenneth Grahame's Wind In the Willows: "There is nothing - absolutely nothing - half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats."

Great stuff Adam. Congratulations to you on making it all happen. A superb way to honor RKJ on the web.

Mark Hendy

Adam. You made this happen. Kudos to you mate.

I met Robin Knox Johnstone in April. He gave a talk about his life and experience of rounding the globe solo.

He really is an extraordinary man. So down to earth and unaffected by the attention. Due to his words about modern chartplotters etc, I rewrite this post with RKJ in mind.

I hope you enjoy it
