Last night, a bunch of nautical bloggers got together for a beer or four in New York. It was wonderful to put faces to URLs and meet some new bloggers too. Great discussions about sailing, tugboating, paddling, windsurfing, kiting and boating in general in the New York area. Here are some pics c/o of Tugster and yours trully. We also learned how Frogma got its name although I could not do the retelling justice. We will leave that to Bonnie.
Yours trully, Michael The Peconic Puffin and Christina aka Bowsprite.

Christina, Tugster, Joe the Towmaster, Elizabeth and Bonnie, the Mighty Frogma!

Wow. That looked like a lot of fun.

OK, maybe I'm having problems with my arithmetic, but there seems to be one more person in that last photo than there are names listed in the caption.
Meanwhile, I'll have to agree with Tillerman that the occasion looked like a lot of fun. I would find it really super to be able to meet in person with so many of you whom I've met online. Oh, well, maybe sometime I'll be on one coast or the other when the opportunity arises for a get-together.

Nice post about our gathering Frdiay night and a great sailing blog. Maybe the water bloggers can meet on a sailboat this summer.

What a shame, I would have loved to have come to this - If there are any more meetups before the end of March, I'm in!
