This was yours truly watching the 470 men and women's medal race. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was outstanding
The venue at Nothe Park, Weymouth was terrific. A nice steep hill overlooking the course. The racing was easy to follow even without binoculars.
Only slight bummer was that the Brits were in contention for gold in both races. Sadly it was two silvers. Never the less great atmosphere and joyous celebration.
A grand day out.
Off to the Olympic Park tomorrow for handball final.
