About Me

I am definitely not the best sailor I know and probably not the worst.

I grew up in London and moved to the US in 1988 to marry my Texan wife, Alice.

Alice I learned to sail together in 1988. We sailed our first boat, a 19" Cape Dory Typhoon every weekend in ...er lovely Galveston Bay for 3 years and then sold it when our son Matt came along. Since then, it's been a little racing, cruising in the Caribbean, Med (Turkey), Chesapeake and Solent on chartered boats.

We aren't hard core sailors, we have never gotten into racing and never crossed any big bodies of water. Coastal sailing is our limit but we love it. It's our passion.

Right now, we are marooned in New Jersey but some day we will buy another boat and start sailing a LOT more.
